GV Engineering takes another step towards ISO 14001 accreditation

John Priest - GV Engineering

GV Engineering is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the first stage of its ISO 14001 environmental accreditation, marking an important milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental management and continual improvement.

The company has been working towards ISO 14001 certification as part of its wider approach to managing its environmental responsibilities and ensuring that robust processes are in place across the business.

Successfully completing the first stage of the assessment is an important achievement, reflecting the time, commitment and hard work that has gone into preparing the business and its team.

The next step will be the final assessment in October, when the company will look to build on the progress already made and complete the accreditation process.

Achieving ISO 14001 certification would provide GV Engineering with a recognised framework for managing its environmental impact, helping the business to identify areas for improvement, strengthen its processes and continue developing its environmental performance.

The work involved has required commitment from across the team, with plenty happening behind the scenes to ensure the business is prepared for each stage of the assessment.

“Reaching this stage is a fantastic achievement for the whole team,” said John Priest, Operations Manager. “There has been a lot of work taking place behind the scenes to prepare for the assessment, so successfully completing stage one is something we’re really pleased about. We’re now looking ahead to the final assessment and hoping all that hard work will pay off.”

With the final assessment on the horizon, GV Engineering is looking forward to taking the next step towards ISO 14001 accreditation.
